As a long time favorite on the Cincinnati cultural scene, P. Ann has earned a stellar reputation as actress, entertainer and radio/TV-personality. With the debut release of "Killer Love" on JCurve Records Rhythm & Roots label, the rest of the world will know what those of here in the Queen City have known for years. P. Ann Everson-Price is a real diva with the emphasis on REAL.

P. Ann's new CD, "Killer Love" is a compilation of R & B, Gospel, Pop and Blues tunes. P. Ann does more than deliver a lyric -- she becomes the lyric -- injecting raw power and passion into her cover of Janis Joplin's 'Piece of My Heart' and Otis Redding's', 'Try A Little Tenderness', which prompt the ladies to raise a hand or two, into her testimony of what a woman "really wants".

When asked, what took you so long [over 26 years in the business] to do your own solo project? P. Ann responds: "JCurve was the only label to offer me a chance to be me. . . " They did not limit me to one genre of music. As an actress, entertainer, minister, and TV/Radio person, I have a passion for all styles of music. I believe that wherever you go in the universe, you will find music. And the love in that music will speak to your heart, no matter what planet you're from. That aspect was important to me.

When asked: "how do you deal with the criticism of your meshing other styles of music with gospel"? P. Ann states: "my Bible tells me that I can do ALL things through Christ that strengthens me". My God is larger than one genre of music. I guess I take after my Father. . . cause so am I.
